Sitting right on the Quay in beautiful Wells-next-the-Sea, Wells Deli is a much-loved independent café with one of the best views in town.
Part of Wells since 2004, the Deli has grown and evolved over more than 20 years, becoming the bright, welcoming place it is today — loved by locals, familiar faces who return year after year, and visitors discovering Wells for the very first time.
Relaxed, friendly and full of character, it’s the kind of place where you can settle in, watch the boats come and go and enjoy the bustle of life on the Quay. Whether you’re starting a day by the coast, taking a break from exploring or simply watching the world go by, there’s always a reason to stop at the Deli.

Our Menu
Our menu is all about good food, great coffee and plenty of choice, whatever the time of day or time of year.
Join us for breakfast or brunch, stop by for a light lunch, or settle in with coffee and something sweet while watching the world go by on the Quay. Think brunch favourites, fluffy pancakes, toasties and freshly made lunches, alongside homemade soups and warming bowls of Thai noodles when the Norfolk weather calls for something cosy.
On sunnier days, there are fresh smoothies, iced coffees and our famously indulgent milkshakes — perfect to enjoy in the café or take with you on a walk to the beach.
And, of course, there’s always seriously good coffee, tempting cakes and plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options too.
